The ueno bank Asunción Premier Padel P2 closed a memorable week with two defining finals, marking the tour’s first visit to the Parque Olímpico in Paraguay, a venue that reflects the sport’s growing ambition and its Olympic pathway. More than 30,000 fans attended across the week, creating a vibrant atmosphere inside the Ueno COP Arena.

In the men’s final, Alejandro Galán and Federico Chingotto once again imposed themselves over Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia, confirming a clear shift in their rivalry with a 6-3, 7-5 victory. While the top seeds arrived in dominant form, Galán and Chingotto proved more decisive in key moments, breaking early and controlling the tempo with composure to secure another title and strengthen their hold on the standout matchup in men’s padel this season.

The women’s final followed a different script but reached a similar conclusion in terms of momentum. Paula Josemaría and Bea González came from behind to defeat Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, extending their winning streak and underlining their current dominance. After dropping the opening set, they raised their level with aggressive, targeted play to turn the match around and claim a fourth consecutive title. For González, it was a particularly special milestone, securing her third Premier Padel trophy in Asunción and maintaining a perfect record at the event, having won every edition played in Paraguay, each time with a different partner.

With MVP awards going to Chingotto and González, Asunción once again delivered elite competition and compelling storylines. The tour now moves directly to Argentina for the Buenos Aires Premier Padel P1, where both rivalries and the fight for No.1 will continue to intensify.
