Sportradar partnership strengthens padel’s integrity framework alongside the appointment of iGame Media as Premier Padel’s official betting technology and distribution partner, supporting the responsible growth and long-term development of the sport

London – 28 September 2026 – Premier Padel and the International Padel Federation (FIP) today announced the appointment of the sports technology company Sportradar as their official betting integrity partner, strengthening the measures in place to protect professional padel and its competitions as the sport continues its rapid global growth.

This accompanies the news that iGame Media has been appointed Premier Padel’s exclusive official partner for betting technology and distribution. This will establish an official – regulated – betting ecosystem for professional padel from the 2027 season onwards, covering all matches across the professional men’s and women’s Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour from 2027. For the first time, regulated sportsbooks will be able to access official betting products for professional padel based on official in-venue umpire data and low-latency live streaming.

Together, the partnerships form part of FIP and Premier Padel’s approach to developing this new commercial opportunity responsibly, combining an official framework for betting operations with continued investment in integrity, education and prevention.

Sportradar’s UFDS (Universal Fraud Detection System) is a worldclass monitoring technology which analyses global betting activity using AI and expert analysis to detect suspicious betting patterns that may indicate match-fixing - alerting sporting partners when concerns are identified. In addition to continuous monitoring of betting activity, Sportradar will also support FIP and Premier Padel’s wider integrity efforts through training and education programmes focused on risk mitigation and prevention, ensuring these principles become embedded in professional padel from the beginning.

These measures complement FIP’s existing work on education, prevention and policy, including its collaboration with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the prevention of competition manipulation. This comes in addition to other landmark integrity work, for example FIP becoming a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Code and its partnership with the International Testing Agency (ITA), which independently manages FIP’s anti-doping programme across international padel competitions, including the Premier Padel Tour.

INTEGRITY AT THE HEART OF PADEL’S GROWTH

As padel’s global profile and professional ecosystem continue to develop, FIP and Premier Padel are committed to ensuring that the sport grows within a robust framework designed to safeguard sporting integrity and protect players, officials, competitions and the wider padel community.

FIP, working together with its National Federations, players’ associations and the Professional Padel Players Coaches Association (PPPCA), is at the forefront of the sport’s efforts to prevent match-fixing and competition manipulation. FIP has adopted the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions in line with International Olympic Committee (IOC) policy and is collaborating with the IOC’s Olympic Movement Unit on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions (OM Unit PMC) on education and awareness initiatives across the sport. This work includes a programme of educational webinars for players, coaches, officials, National Federations and other members of the international padel community.

FIP is also developing further mechanisms to support the reporting of potential integrity concerns, including plans for a dedicated reporting channel accessible through FIP’s digital platforms. The establishment of an official data ecosystem represents another important component of this approach, providing greater oversight of how professional padel data is collected, distributed and used within regulated betting markets.

Luigi Carraro, President of the International Padel Federation, said: “Integrity is fundamental to the future of padel and to everything we are building together as an international sporting community. FIP is investing significantly in this area – from adopting the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions, to our collaboration with the IOC, education programmes for players, coaches, officials and National Federations, and the development of stronger reporting and safeguarding mechanisms.”

“As our professional competitions grow, it is important that we have visibility and oversight of the way official sporting data is used. This partnership with Sportradar therefore sits within a much broader programme of work to ensure padel continues to develop responsibly, transparently and with the highest possible standards of sporting integrity.”

Andreas Krannich, Executive Vice President, Integrity Services at Sportradar, said: “We are proud to partner with Premier Padel and FIP, and support the protection of their competitions through our market-leading UFDS AI and Integrity Education. By combining advanced technology, extensive betting-market visibility and specialist integrity expertise, we will help identify potential risks at the earliest opportunity and strengthen the integrity framework around the sport worldwide.”

INVESTING BACK INTO THE SPORT

The partnerships represent a strategic investment by Premier Padel in the future of the sport, while also creating new commercial opportunities and revenue streams for professional padel. This supports Premier Padel and FIP’s wider commitment to reinvest revenues generated through commercial partnerships into the continued growth and development of the sport.

This investment supports the development of padel at every level – strengthening the professional game and its global events while contributing to the wider international ecosystem and the long-term foundations required for the sport to continue expanding around the world.

David Sugden, CEO of Premier Padel, said: “Padel’s incredible growth is creating significant new opportunities for the sport, and with that comes a responsibility to make sure that growth benefits its long-term future. Partnerships like this generate revenues that we can reinvest in the professional game, our players, our events and the fan experience, helping us continue to develop the sport and its ecosystem around the world.”
